MEET DEBUT AUTHORS: CONKLIN, MASCHARI, AND SHOVAN

Families (ages 8-13); 60 min. Registration required.

Celebrate summer reading with three debut authors: Melanie Conklin, author of Counting Thyme; Jennifer Maschari, former teacher and author of The Remarkable Journey of Charlie Price; and Laura Shovan, Howard County Poetry and Literature Society’s current writer-in-residence, and author of The Last fifth Grade of Emerson Elementary. They will read from their new novels and discuss the message of hope that comes from their character’s challenges, as well as answer questions. Books available for purchase and signing.
